that although ultrasonic slitting machine is more expensive than belt cutting machine, it can make the cutting side 

smoother. For example, ultrasonic slitting machine can make clean and precise cut for the velcro in quite short a time, 

and automatically cool and weld the edge. What’s more, because the ultrasonic wave is characterized by its instant 

heating, it will not melt large areas of materials like hot cutting. That’s why the cutting side made by ultrasonic slitting 

machine seems more soft and smooth, and it will not turn black or become scorched.
