There are two reasons.
Firstly, the working principle of Ultrasonic Ribbon/Belt Cutting machines is through the high friction temperature which is generated by the high-speed vibration whose frequency is over 20KHZ. The ultrasound itself has the grinding function to cut moulds, and the ultrasonic moulds are also made from quality alloy steel, the hardness can reach over 60° after the heat treatment. Because the ultrasonic cutting moulds will continuous dash against with the ultrasonic moulds, the ultrasonic cutting moulds must be in high quality and must be made from imported honor tool steel. Thus the hardness must reach 61°, 1°higher than the ultrasonic moulds.
Secondly, because of debbuging,the ultrasonic cutting moulds of Ultrasonic Ribbon Punching and Cutting Machine usually is an acute angle which less than 60°. We must set accurate position limited for the adjustment of the ultrasonic cutting moulds. The ultrasonic cutting moulds can not completely touch the ultrasonic moulds and the ribbon should be cut by the vibration and friction when pressurizing. If not, the ultrasonic cutting moulds of Ultrasonic Ribbon Punching and Cutting Machine will be easily damaged by the impact of the high pressure, and the life expectancy of the ultrasonic moulds can be affected.
